The scan original digital data (i.e., not yet interpreted) is sent to Dr. Uszler via computer diskette for complete computer processing and interpretation.

Your scan data is usually available only in transparency film format, but using the data in its original digital form allows Dr. Uszler quantitatively process the data, and thus obtain the maximum evaluation results.

That data can be transmitted via digital diskette or via Internet-based transmission of Dicom-compatible data. It is preferable to have the medical diagnostic site where the brain SPECT scan has been or will be performed be in contact with our office to ensure that compatible digital data can be sent and received. Please be aware of the importance of this compatibility factor because not all brain SPECT scanning systems use compatible digital data formats.

Dr. Uszler will use the Premiere brain SPECT processing system to extract the maximum amount of brain functionl information from your scan procedure. Accompanying information should include patient condition at the time of the scan injection.

Both conventional non-quantitative, as well as quantitative, image and data processing will be employed via the Premiere brain SPECT processing system. The quantitative processing output and Dr. Uszler's written analysis report will be sent to you and to your named healthcare physician.
